well said sunny couldnt hav put it better myself d thing is all indian bike company suck big time and more den dat d mind set of average indian. untill dat changes we wont get ne good thing in here. btw people in dis country even talk bout milage when talking bout merc or bmw so i guess wht most people seem 2 think bout bike is no worse. whn u go 2 sevice station wid complaints like ur 180 isnt going above 115 or 110 4 dat matter people say were d hell do u get 2 ride at those speeds. even guys owning 150s say dis kind of stuff all dis sucks big time. its time we get some racing culture in our country not d motercross but track racing or street racing. go out there in group and show people wht biking is all bout[8D]. maybe we can hav 1 or 2 splandors racing there 2

That's what i m thinkin of ZMA-223 man.It's just they are thinkin that we are lambs or something and the only thing they want to do is slaughter us.Look at overdrive the whole team were on track setting new records,they call the zma-223 a the best in india yet they know that the Rd and those Rx100s and the Jawa 350's produced 25bhp and the yearly 90's Zundapp fury which is 50cc down on ZMA-223 is able to produce 1 bhp more.Maybe people of india before 10-15 years ago were more lucky than us.The only positive point of today's bikes are that they look good(i m talking bout the Zma and the Ptwins and the 150cc+ category).I think i m going to bomb these companys to bits 1 day.

And its not that the market doesnt have numbers or some lame excuse like that I mean HH sells 1.5 lac bikes a month(on an Avg.)So surely when they launched karizma then wernt looking at numbers. as it is only 1/10 bike buying ppl will even give a thought to karizma. So why spent soooo much dough on adversting,and why only 17PS. I think not many 180 owners are going to upgrade too a karizma. Only good thing is that with this bike's launch i feel elim. prices will come down. Which is a boon cause elim is a real good bike.

Yeah Road Racing is great stuff,it's dangerous too but what the hell i m ready to face danger just to put adrenalin running through my veins.I m with you tiger.And sunny you also perveously told that you were going to companies to tell them to launch upgrading and racing kits to their performance bikes.What hapened??

not every potential motorcycle buyer is a member of a bike forum. Or for the matter not every buyer cares to dig out the details of the product he's about to buy. Milage is the mantra in our country. and its upto us to **** that mantra.

Sunny,i suggest you wait for the p180 upgrade for few days...If it fulfills your needs,go for it..Otherwise put your money on ZMA(from the other posts of urs in other threads, it stimes seem like you are more or less a fan of ZMA..

)..cuz now that the p180 upgrade is coming up, it would surely take some time for bajaj people to launch the pulsar 2xx...what say??

Going for a 17Ps bike or the pulsar upgrade is not worth it. instead keep saving for a Min. 20BHP bike.

sunny i'll still say either have a chat with chinoy,or wait for a 20+bhp bike,i tell you frankly tht this premium sport and all that is no good in satisfying hunger for real performence.so best is to send the barrel and try gettin a full blown pulsar.

I am in summat similar circumstance like urs Sunny.

Dilemma :
Pulsar 180 : does not seem enuff.
Karizma : Already at max capacity from that block( Thats why only 223 cc because there is no room in that block to go any larger) means no fun later.
Bullet : At 166cms I am a tad too small for the HULK.
RX100 : Second hand bikes available are usually royally damaged and at the end of their usefull life-span.
RX135/RXZ : If two-strokes are gonna be phase out by the govt, why risk a bike with no resale value or spare availability.
RD350 : Droool. But spares ?????

Madmax , it seems as though the Karizma is a bike that you like it after you ride it long enough . There are somethings that take time to get you to like them , but then you like them a lot and you don't grow out of it . I didn't like rock/metal when I was a kid , and it took a lot of persuasion from my cousin until I started liking the "noise" , but now other kinds of music seem childish to me .

Hope its the same with my Karizma .
