  • Sub zero bike - choose your ride

While reading the road-trips in the xBhp magazine, it struck me all of a sudden. People are taking SBKs to sub-zero climate. But when it comes to choose your ride, what would you prefer? A fully faired one, like R1 or a naked one like bandit/gixxer, or any semi-faired will do well? It's just a casual question that came out of no-where? But isn't the less air (read, O2) in high altitude make the fully faired ones panting for breath? Also, would repairing the naked ones, be easier in the trip, when you have faced with a problem in the machinery? Kindly share your experience...

Motorsport is fun. Safety is a mandate. Be in shape & ride long

a 400cc motocross, or something like the F650... that would tackle the conditions with ease, and wont be too heavy to handle as well

What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

I would prefer semi faired too.
Bandit, F650, Multistrada are my choices.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

In that case you would have to reach a place where you will have loads of snow. This Snowbike has to be transported in a pickup vehicle, because a person will be a superman to ride this on a normal road, then i really don't know for how long a person will be able to ride on such machine.

For me, Semi Naked sounds good. Although given an option i would keep all three with me. Naked, Semi and full fairing for diffrent occasion and rides.
