    There's nothing such as keeping 3-5 liters of fuel in the tank. It is recommended to get the bike re-fueled when the bar blinks. The main concept is that the fuel pump inlet should be submerged in fuel (which is a best practice) and it does so in 1-1.5L of fuel.

    Mileage of 25 kmpl? You must be flying. During running in between 3-5k i.e. 48-80 km/hr I am getting 32-35 kmpl.

      @Kurt : I meant on the hills when you are constantly on 2nd 3rd gear. Btw the mileage you seem to be getting is good and presumably it will go up slightly when the bike opens up completely.

        32-35??? mY Karizma needs to listen to this. Bad Karizma. She never gives me a few hundred metres more than 30kmpl.

          PGM-FI does increase the mileage significantly as even ZMR is delivering in range of 40-45kmph depending on riding pattern..

          as per topic, you don't require 4-5L minimum in your bike its just advisable to keep it above that level..
