  • Tokyo Motor Show- 2011

    Hello All!!
I have been to the 42 nd tokyo motor show last week.(4th December). It was huge!!The estimated number of vehicles that will be showcased is in thousands is what i heard!!But i was all interested about the Motorcycles displayed over there! Being a Yammy Fan boy i was very excited to see what Yamaha has to show to the world this year!! I have taken lot of pictures! cant display all here.So will posting few in slow phases

Ok here u go!! First Good news> KTM 200 is releasing in spring in Japan followed in India(time not clear). And In 2013 KTM duke will be released with ABS. R&D for ABS is going on now with BOSCH and after testing, it will be released.- I had a nice chat with the President- KTM Japan for quite a long time and he said all this information. He was a nice down to Earth person with so much enthusiasm to explain about his product which you wont expect out of a person in such a position

Rx is a Phoenix!!! It always rise from ashes!!

Sriram, this is the land of two strokers i say!! everywhere i see a two stroker.they just roar!! And for your info KTM 125 is the highest selling bike in its category in this year here...it has sold 5000units since its release which is a very hudge number here!!a record actually for KTM.Regarding YPVS> its somewhat rare to see...its like how original 5speed is in INDIA.But You can see NSR150 a lot. They just blow the 4strokes here.

Oh, Odaiba. One could spend a whole day sightseeing there. There is also a science museum where there is a working model of a maglev train, which is eerie because the scale models are flying around in the air purely on magnetic levitation. Wonder when we will get cars and bikes which do that

Did you see the new Suzuki 250 there as well?
