    Rossi tests a Ferrari F1 car at Mugello

    MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi tested a Ferrari Formula One car at Mugello yesterday as a gift from the Italian team for achieving his eighth championship title.

    Rossi apparently completed nearly 30 laps of the famous Italian circuit and recorded a respectable fastest lap time of 1 min 22.5 seconds.

    Rossi's lap time wasn't bad at all, considering that at Ferrari's last Mugello test F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen posted a top time of 1 min 21.079 seconds, only 1.5 seconds quicker.

    Rossi may even of been able to post a faster lap time, but his test was cut short by bad weather.

    Clearly Rossi's racing talent isn't limited to just 2 wheels- or tarmac for that matter. The Italian champion is also set to take part in the Wales Rally GB next month in aid of Children in Need.

      it also happened some time back ....but as he himself said in an interview,hes too old to shift to F1!

        But Schumi still doesnt think he's old Rossi should think like him too. !
        A man's testosterone level is directly proportional to bhp that he's using on his motorcycle.

          If memory serves, Rossi had earlier gone on record to say that he'd consider shifting to F1 when he's too old for MotoGp..

            IMO, He should rather stick to MotoGP.. although he can seriously out perform most of the F1 drivers.. but i'd rather like to see Rossi riding on 2 wheels.
