    This is the same case here in Kolkata. They have started this practice since last month. It's only taking place in the HP Pump in Shakespeare Sarani and on being asked about it the manager replied that it is an order from the higher authorities and he knew nothing about it.

      Except Shell, haven't heard anywhere in last 15 years. BTW, which fuel company are you talking about here? PSU's or private?

          Except for Shell - i haven't came across such cases in any other bunk.
          And Yes Shell dont give petrol in plastic cans - but they give Petrol in metal cans which can buy from them or if you already have.

            Its a HP bunk here,in Cuttack(Jagatpur).
            They have stopped the drill for now,but the attendant says,it will continue again after some days.
            A new 'Statutory warning' board has been put,which says to get off the bike while refuelling(its the first point),but says nothing about Helmets.
            And the attendants are also saying 'hello/good morning/evening sir' to every customers now..... the only problem is,its taking a hell lot of time...
