  • What separates Pulsars from the rest?

The brand pulsar as we know is 10 years old and has had its own ups and downs and tons of praises but also curses about its poor quality

so all guys here i want to know(if u own a pulsar or not or just rode one) how is pulsar different from the rest?

mostly its used for commuting by the masses so whats the difference between its sibling Discover which bajaj has termed it as sports commuter

What am i missing out if i dont buy a pulsar??(lets say instead or p150 i bought a unicorn..or an apache160...or GS150 or FZ or may be even a discover that is light weight and helps me zip thru traffic or instead of p180 i got the apachertr180 or instead of a p135 i got a stunner or SS125 or Discover 125ST or a twister or a shine)

does it bring a smile on ur face whenevr u ride it(eventhough its a very old bike and u have ridden it tons of times)

does it burn a hole in ur pocket for too much maintenance?

does it make u stand out from the rest

which u feel is the closest competitor of your pulsar?

is it something special or just another bike with which i can ride in the city traffic and once in a while has a little edge in power figures so u can zoom ahead a little faster?

how does it fare against the elite bikes in its competition(for eg. lets say p150 against R15 or cbr150)

i have never ridden a pulsar but i want to know whats so special about this bike that it finds its place in every discussion comparission or little fights in the threads that the pulsar is good or bad

    Topic Closed.

Last time, our moderators approved a thread "Is Karizma losing its appeal?" which was an absolutely relevant question for all of us.
But, it had to be closed due to the brand wars that ensued. Let's use the Pit Stop: General Biking Discussion to discuss bikes and their topics in general, and not "brands".

Mayank: While no one should have any problem with your question, I suggest you post this in one of the Pulsar Ownership threads so that owners can reply directly. Thanks.
