Anyways, did you check the spark plug? Maybe that has gotten wet and thats why the engine ain't starting.
by hydrolocking, if you mean that the engine got damage due to high pressure steam, maybe it could be true.. but the engine was running untill i switched it off using the key...
i opened up the head assly and removed the block from the engine.. the bore does seem clean but yes it has deep scratches... I even got the head and bore cleaned with high pressure steam so that it was clean from any carbon deposits... but it did not help... According to my mechanic, maybe this cleaning could have made the matter worse by removing the carbon deposits.. he says that carbon deposits are not always harmfull. sometimes, removing them causes more problems... as they say, if it aint broke, dont fix it
it could also be more due the fact that this bore was already overdue for replacement.

Yes @ Rockrz, your cleaning had been good ...It is also one of the reason old engines are not recommended to use Engine flush.
The water injection is always done as a spray and in small quantities and the heat of the engine is supposed to turn it into steam in the manifold itself...
Elsewhere i had seen articles in which thick Copper tubes were wound on the exhaust tube and water from a small tank in the engine bay supplied metered quantity in to this tubing , and in use the exhaust heat turned the small amount of water into steam ,which then was fed into the engine, again in controlled manner....
Here is a schematic for the same.....if interested I can post the article in full.

would love to some know some more about engines... Please do upload the same...
btw, steam jet cleaning will also have the same effect right? i mean regarding the carbon deposit washing.

Considering how much you have abused your engine and the beechara Splendor engine, I was hoping you are now building a 6 stroke engine

              Re: Engine Decarbonization using Water??

Really interesting but I think no much people would dare inject water into their engines.

Apparently decarbonization is possible with the use of natural has my friend claims to have done it with a guy in Bangalore.

I am going to check out his bike out today.
