A long time ago someone had invented a charger for mobiles powered by the wind. That is.... its a fan placed on the car/bike and its rotation would provide enough power to charge a mobile phone and even a laptop. It was invented by an Indian, and the Honey Bee Network had even recognized this achievement. Take a look at the following link:

HI,
You create a permanent charging station over the bike by inserting the wire in connector below the ignition switch.
That is safe for all the bikes and doestn void any warranty, it is very easy to install and removable also.
Our company is introducing bicycle charger and we have also made a autonomus micro aired vehicle loads and laods more product to come.

Saw the website. Pretty neat and has quite a few handy tools listed there!
But im looking forward to getting a universal charging point on my r15 for a air compressor for inflating tire, mobile charger, gps etc. Any solutions available here?

what ever it is, it will do the job of charging your phone on the move

bike charger for gopro hd helmet
hey guys,
ive planned a trip mumbai-leh-mumbai and am buying a gopro hd helmet camera for the trip.the battery of gopro is 3.7v 1100 mAp which is similar to the one used in nokia expressmusic.and the gopro can be charged while shooting..was just thinking if this charger would help me with the charge for the entire trip.gopro cam has a usb charging pin so i dont think so it should have a problem.was thinking whether to buy an extra battery which will cost me more 20$(trying to save money for the trip) which would still need charging but would be a backup if something happens to the first one or use the bike charger without worry.Comment

I would recommend a On /off switch before the charger .so it wont draw power from the electrics.
Also use the good chargers like stock Nokia charger because it uses power from dynamo it variable. The rebranded/china/footpatg chargers wont have proper voltage regulators which will result in damage of the mobile.
Note: And this will effect the battery charging of the vehicle effecting in self start and other resourcesHelmets On +
