    I too got an email. getting worried. I think its a hoax as no way XBHP's Journey can end leaving us 45k plus fans high and dry in the middle of it.

                  This new theme hurts my eyes really bad.. Also the homepage is a mess now... I think my xbhp journey is really gonna slow down a lot...

                    Im okay with the new interface...BUT..they need to work on the font color. White font on light gray background? darker gray font should do instead of white.

                        Whats with the continuous decline in the themes? Is there an objective to make this site as crappy as possible?

                        Look at these WIDE empty grey areas on all sides of the forum posts. What exact purpose do they serve? Why add them?
                        IF Xbhp is about content then please put content foremost. Leave out these new-fangled "themes" that do nothing but detract from the overall experience.

                        Let the content speak. Not the damn UI

                          Did xBHP actually made the change I mentioned above, or was it mere coincidence. Anyway, looking better now.

                          Easy there. Creating webpages are always a designer's dilemma. You are probably viewing xBhp on big screen. People using smaller monitors won't be having your problem of "WIDE empty grey areas". Simply put, some people use small screen, others twice as big.
                          Yeah, I suppose one could design the page to fit screen from corner to corner depending on screen size, although even this is frown upon, as it is not comfortable reading content where your eye has to travel all the way from the extreme left corner of the screen to the extreme right on a big wide screen. I use big wide screen, and I prefer minimizing the windows to read content. Preference after all. There is no pleasing everyone. So, as far as content portion (reading posts) is concerned, Im okay with it. Can't say for the rest, they looks pretty messy and hard on the eye for the moment. But I'll get use to it.

                            It looks more like a new bottle that a new journey.

                            from the mismatch in message shown and actual happening I came to following conclusion:

                            xbhp now runs an automated script which randomly picks a message from a pool for its users, during maintenance. Message may or may not convey any meaningful thing. So Whenever you find any such message in future just understand that some maintenance work is going on (mostly new css and icons)

                              I am having a horrible time trying to read posts, the gray background color and the small font size looks horrible.

                              Are you guys planning to put some ads, campaigns on either side of the page? Why so much empty space on either side.

                              A big thumbs down, to what you guys have done.

                                Erm..... first the blunder of xbhp shutting down.. so not cool!! now this one is a real eyesore.. after sometime eyes start to hurt and the fonts and the stock font colour are absolutely useless.. Sorry xbhp mods but this is what you get to hear if you over engineer something which is good as it is.
