Amost a breakthrough in helmet technology as since comparing there is nothing major like this happening in recent past.
750$ is a steep price considering normal use,this i guess will be used by pros and harcore riders but its minimal if it saves your life or from head injuries and if it works out well these should be made standard type helmets and produced in low budget also.Comment

I remember that in my only accident of my life, my head was not affected by the crash due to a good quality Studds Helmet which didn't even crack, leave alone exposing my head to the road.
But, that said, the jerk on my head was tremendous when the road banged the helmet. So tremendous that my head was dazed for 2-3 seconds or so.
So, whosoever says that helmets can lead to concussions, is correct. This development is appreciated. Let's hope it makes through to the market, with further improvements. But I wonder if they could use a simple air-balloon based protection around the helmet, instead of this complicated suspension setup.---

wow, this is good news, i have always imagined a helmet, that provides more cushioning to prevent internal brain injuries.
during my own accident, the helmet protected my head, but the forehead portion of my head+helmet combo banged so hard that i had a frontal skull depressed fracture above right eye, so obviously more cushioning may have prevented it.
but why so costly??Comment

Anything that can prevent brain injuries is welcome. It is a lot of money though! I'd hate to drop it and damage it on the first day...Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.Comment
