  • [Fuel Tank] Is Cleaning Pulsar fuel tank really required ?

    Hi Guys,

I rode Bajaj Super FE in which i mixed 2T oil along with petrol in the fuel tank. The additional advantage, which I heard, was that it cleans the fuel tank.

Gone are the days now and we need only the fuel, no adulterants required. Now the question is, is it really required to clean modern fuel tanks, I have Pulsar 150 UG3.

If cleaning is required, how to best do it and pron - cons for the same.

I have never tried cleaning my tank but never ever felt too. I have heard that a small pouch of 2t oil with full tank is enough to clean, but then where does that garbage go ???? In the engine !!!! ???

Please share your thoughts on this.

Mods: Kindly merge my thread if it has already been discussed.

    Thanks.
