I always wanted to buy HID but never have the required funds ... also bhopal roads arent very well lit .. so me n fellow xbhpians from bhopal are quiet mad abt trying our best to improve our bike's vision. We've tried a couple of these bulbs... One more point its too difficult to get HID in bhopal...
Since im from Muscat, Last year i ended up gettin 260W white light bulb (Rs 300) .. which was completely foolish thing tht i did .. the Bulb didnt ended up lighting even lesser light than the previous setup... that wasnt the bulb's mistake .. but as i said it was foolishness ...
Previously before i had changed my bike's Fairing .. when I had the Alien looking (if ull remember what a Yamaha Fazer looks Like) fairing ... I had installed two of these white light bulbs of the same rating 25w each (Rs 150 each ... got looted .. i was completely new to the Indian Biking Scenario at that time) which i had bought from mumbai .... well they were different from the present HS1 bulb that the bike uses now. Those were really good. Enjoyed the light they gave me for a period of 2 months after which I changed the Fairing.
So day b4 ended up with this new bulb. All thanks to the fellow xbhpian Ashish who also installed it on his Pulsar the previous day ( He has also experimented with a couple of these .. always in a failure).
Well the light is not white or neither blue .. its Ultra Blue ... thats what the Company that manufactured the bulb says .. N i also believe that.
The light has produced satisfying results. Much better than the Halonix HS1 normal 35W bulb ... Its not a striking Blue like the HID which i just saw on a ZMA n a FZ16 which I in the 2day ... But it produces this different white n blue mix .. like I said Ultra Blue ...
For all the people who own Pulsars and hate people who keep their High Beam ON
: The day Ashish installed it he tried it on a really dark road with oncoming traffic. With his High Beam on. People were using their pass switch for the first time ever to signal to him to lower his beam. Thts how Ashish Tested it. Well We do that only for testing. Please Donot follow this. This could lead to serious accidents
The bulb costed Rs 90 /-. quiet cheap compared to the amounts I Paid earlier.
The rest will be spoken by the pics.

Ill soon post pics of Ashish's Pulsar 150 and a pic of the headlight of a Pulsar 150 with a normal bulb for a comparison. Both the Bikes will be idling at a RPM of 2000 so as to provide equal amount of current to them
