Please help me in getting a good reflective rim stickers for my new bike. I have already got custom made on my bike but, its not that effective. How are Keiti reflective rim stickers available on Planet DSG. Are they easy to install?

you have 3 options..

either go for the local reflective rim tap in which white ones are the most relective ones.. the rest shades only reflect in particular angles..

else keiti is good however expensive..

else if you want white.. go for 3M reflectice tape.. the same ones used on buses and trucks given by RTO as a mandate..

Yes local ones are useless. will try to get Keiti, but do they reflect in all angles. I intend to get a Yellow one.

keiti ones are better quality henceeven with less light the reflection will be more.. the local ones would only reflect in straight lines.
the better quality ones have more reflective angles and hence easily visible..

I have been using keiti reflective tape for the past 2 years and all it needs is just a little wipe and its good to shine as new. I bought it from Planet DSG for Rs700 + Rs200 as shipping charge. Initially I thought it was pretty expensive but now after seeing my friends change their rim tapes every now and then, i feel I saved myself the trouble and it is worth the price I paid for. I bought a red coloured one and pasted it myself. It came with an application roller sort of thing to supposedly easy the process but it takes a little bit of getting used to its flow. It's of course easier than just plain bare hands. And after applying on both wheels on my NS, a good 30cm or so was left. If you buy, don't hesitate to do a few cms trial run before the final application.

Re: Reflective Rim Stickers

Hi Sierra,

If you have the time and patience, I'd suggest the 3M reflective tapes (not the rimtapes)

Anybody with reasonable experience on the road at nights know the performance of these tapes.

I choose to be boringly overcautious and safe with my riding habits and visibility rather than be sorry :P
