  • Team 72

    Hi everyone,
I am Rakesh and this is my first thread which I am writing. Of late I started a Team of my own and we are like tourers at present, thinking of doing stunts in the later on stage. http://www.facebook.com/Team72.Racers?fref=ts Here is the link to my Team page. . .

I would like your inputs about a Team, how to carry it out? How many members to allow in the Team? etc,. and so on. Any kind of help would be beneficial as this is my second Team after 3 years which was rode by only 4 riders, all my friends but this is completely different as I am recruiting riders other than my friends.
I have made a list of Rides allowed in Team72, it as follows,
List of bikes allowed in Team72,
    Bajaj - Pulsar 180/200/220.
    Hero - Karizma.
    Honda - Nil.
    Yamaha - R15 and Fazer.

TVS will consider in later stages, if allowed also only RTR180.

    For the Riders,
    1. Helmet is necessary (without helmet riders aren't allowed to come along with us).
    2. Jackets.
    3. Gloves.
    4. Riding boots or sports shoes.

Any other info is welcomed. Please help me out those who have ideas and also from those who own a team or who are in a team.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers!!!

    GBD Approved

I assume you want to start a club?
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Firstly, thanks for the approval and yes it's a sports club and it's already been started. . .

IMO, do not restrict the membership on the basis of bike engine capacity. There is no point keeping just high end bikes with low IQ riders who may or may not contribute to your team. Also, try taking in 25+ years old riders and not those college going "kids" just to add numbers for your group, because generally their sole intension would be to ride for few months to show off and sit back home when the sun is too hot or parents confiscate the "gifted" bike.

In short, focus on small quality team rather than trying to be national sensation with team members who ride like head less chicken. Have a look on my bikers group website (NOW Bikers Group Official Website) and FB page (www.facebook.com/nowbikers) and see if you get some ideas and direction.

All the best and ride safe.

Thanks for your input and yes will take these into considerations and about the college going fellows, you are right, they don't come regularly with us. . . So, I am just searching for the correct riders and those who can come every time we call them and not give silly reasons, firstly will make sure that the riders can come with us for the rides and then take them into the team after they attend with us for some time. That's the point which I consider, I need good riders, that's what I say, I don't care if he has a Ninja or Pulsar, the Rider should be a good rider cos taking a 150cc bike rider who is an expert is far better than taking a Ninja rider who doesn't know to ride properly. For the rides, I have made it as twice a month, every 15 days once ride and also it'll be on a Sunday so as the riders won't find it difficult to attend. . . This is the link to my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Team72.Racers and keep updated. . . Your website is simply amazing. . . Once again thank you for your input. . .
