I had registered my bike in Telangana couple of years back. Now, I have moved back to my home state WB for some time, but I am facing lots of issues to get the PUC testing done here.

Telangana is one of the very few states which chose not to use VAHAN for vehicle registrations and thus TS registered vehicle details are not available on VAHAN4 which is used in most of the states including WB for even a simple PUC testing. The PUC center clerk finds the vehicle details from VAHAN database linked portal - "vahan.parivahan.gov.in/puc/" to start off the testing. Since, my TS registered vehicle details are not available here, I am told to get my registration updated on VAHAN before doing the PUC.

I have reached out to the Telangana RTO, but they do not update any registration details on VAHAN and that leaves us with to no option to get the testing done outside TS.

I am sure many such TS registered [AP and MP as well] vehicles are facing this issue all over India now. Request you to share your experience and thoughts on this so that the PUC can be completed outside these states without any hassle.
