The other day I took my bike out and noticed, while rolling up to my first stop light, that my front brake wasn’t engaging properly. I would pull the lever in and it would compress almost fully into the throttle without the bike braking to a stop. It would very slowly stop but nowhere near what it should be. I was already halfway to my destination and fortunately engine braking and my rear brakes did the trick for this short trip. Obviously this isn’t ideal for many reasons and not recommended for anyone reading this. https://19216881.org/ https://1921681001.link/ https://19216801.digital/
When I was about to head home, I did a check on the bike and the front brake was engaging again. Did a couple quick stop checks and it seemed fine. I did a full check on the bike and everything was normal. Rode home with no issues but now I’m wondering what happened. Anyone have any feedback or thoughts? Maybe something I should check out?
Also, I do realize I should have done a pre-ride check on the bike before heading out but I haven’t had this issue ever so I didn’t really think about my front brake not engaging properly.
