I have a Suzuki Gixxer 150 which is about 1.7 years old. I was recently rear-ended by a mini pickup truck at an intersection when I was just slowing down and about to stop at a red signal. The bike had crashed and took some minor damages.
I took it to Suzuki authorised service centre to get an estimate and send it to the insurance company.
The service centre is saying that there is some damage to the front fork and T bar. But the insurance agent is saying that the service centre is exaggerating the damage. It is not supposed to be damaged from rear-end collision. As per him, the service centre overcharges it and possibly the damage is done by him. I have no history of crashes and accidents on that bike. So I am not sure who is telling the truth.
Any insight from experience riders will be helpful.
