  • Bajaj Pulsar - All versions - Rewinding & automatic BCU switch

    Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG3.

    Current mods :

    2 x hella rallye 55w (110w of lights)
    Bosch horns
    All DC connection
    Ape RR
    regular 9Ah battery.

I have wound my coil with 19.5g wire on 7 cores.

Only one AC output from coil. see circuit and ask for details.

with this circuit, the bcu turns on/off automatically and is full dc.

I have this for about a week now, with high rev riding.
checked all the circuit temperatures. all fine.

just use 20A rated wire to connect to battery. and fix the RR in a place with good air circulation.

ID:	1976626 The 30A rated diode. it allows current only in one direction. see sign properly.

I use this circuit for mor that 10A. so it must be safe.

    GBD Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

one for no-return and bcu relay
other to keep proper supply to relay.

      components:
      Ape RR or GC1000 RR
      20A rated wire 1m
      spst relay x 1
      U1 - 7812 regulator x 1 (will have 3 pins (1-dc in, 1-dc out, middle is ground-common)
      C1 - 50v 4700uF Capacitor x 1
R1 - 1k or 2k resistor to discharge the capacitor after engine off.
D2 - IN4007 diode (small for relay circuit, unnecessary, just for sakes)
D1 - large diode, dont know number (ask for 20a diode, will look like a big bolt-nut)
Thick clips to harness to battery, like the original wire

@raghav.glass Can you please post pics of the actual parts- the wiring harness, BCU, relay connected etc? Mechanics and friends helping out still can't understand how to complete this successfully
