Know your limts. Plan your ride accordingly. Dont challenge them when you are at risk. Challenge them when you are at a safe location.
Please dont go by any other person's sleep clock. Your sleeping pattern is yours alone.
Have seen people who dont sleep for 2-3 days during exams and have seen myself; 3 hrs of sleep atleast in 24 hrs. Its not necessary to take a nap when you are sleepy, you can take it before it. Plan your sleep.
You are riding for 10 hrs, in India!! - The most populated country after China. You can easily manage a place where you can take a nap as per your convenience in ANY 24 hr journey.
More importantly.. never ride under influence of sleep, drugs, liquor etc. I am also riding on the same road!
