it looks useful !! better we lube the chain ourselves rather fitting these and increasing the weight slightly!! . it looks odd too!! i dont think people will go for these kind of mechanism!!

Yes, .. Dr.Arnob has done this.. DIY with a very simple system..
A pouch full of oil under the seat is supplied through a pipe and falls drop-by-drop just over the chain..oil is just driven under gravity..

Just re route the crank case breather to blow its oil vapour onto your chain. Old timers biker trick.

                How about this.,
An Indian make.. seems to be a decent fit on the bike...

Supplier of Chain Oiler from Vadodara,Gujarat,India,ID: 1800882588

It would be nice if any Vadodara Xbhpians get some more info on this.
                Looks interesting.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

on the go continuous oiling of chain is not required unless you are going to participate in 24 hour Le Mans race, even then it is hardly required. instead of doing all this modification, just keep a chain spray in bike and apply whenever you feel that its running dry.

Rather than oiling continuously, what I think is its better to have a brush like attachment as shown in the above picture to clean the chain continuously so that grime and dirt don't get attached especially for bikes with no chain cover.

Re: Fitting an automatic drive chain oiler.

                      1. tie up 2 old / used tooth-brushes back to back
                      2. center stand the bike such that the rear wheel is off the ground
                      3. crank her up - slot it in the 1st cog.
                      4. the rear wheel starts spinning @ near-idle speed.
                      5. hold the clean set of bristles over the chain for 5~6 full rotations.
                      6. do the same w/ the other side of bristles for the underside of the chain.
                      7. repeat 5 & 6 as required.
                      8. spray the lube on the chain.
                      9. that's about it!
                      10. Q.E.D.
usually doing this procedure every 500~700 kms of running keeps it nice n clean n lubed-up.

If this mechanism breaks and falls into the chain itself.. imagine the risk?? guess thats why our guys dont prefer that
