  • Crf150R HEAD ON CB UNICORN

Honda unicorn have an engine that is similar to honda's well known trail bike crf150f(models past 2006). How ever crf150R is a sibling with unicam 4 valve engine. So my question was will crf150R's head fit on crf150f/unicorn engine? If slight mis matches exist what kind of machining and what other parts should be taken care of?? Comments are welcome.

Re: Crf150R HEAD ON CB UNICORN

Well. My further research brought me down to the conclusion. Its simply impossible to use the 150R Head. Plonking the entire engine may be easier. But the money and effort spent will not worth the gain in performance. But if we could find any 4 valve head similar to 150f, that may help. Some people have done 4valve mods to honda gy-6 series 150cc motors. I belive the head cover design got nothing to do with the similarity of engine head assembly. Any hop??
