      The tailpiece. Lines straight from the sidepanel of the Pulsar. Any doubt?

      @Nitrosatya:

      The Mantis resembling the KTM 690 .. well all supermotos are of that proportion no bro? So we could compare it to the Ducati Hypermotard and the Suzuki DRZ400 something...

      There you go!

      Sure bro. But the KaTooM can be a reality in India as compared to others. Also i heard that KTM was developing 250cc bike for India with Bajaj.

          The discover tank is much smaller in dimension and also the lines are not so prominently visible.I can also say that the tank has some resembleance with Apache tank.

          @leon-Bajaj as a client for Xenophya doesn't make it obvious that these designs are from Bajaj.I have a other way of looking at it.If these are from Bajaj then they would have never allowed Xenophya to promote the same images in their site as it will automatically make people guess them as Bajaj designs as they are in their client list.So a new Indian player is very much possible.But this is only me.Others may think in a different way.

          Yesterday I was looking for Mahindra and see whether they have any kind of relation with Xenophya or not and I found that they acquired a design house named EnginesengiineeringSpA from Italy whose one client is TVS.
          It is my feeling to agree with this. Any work Xeno had done with Bajaj would be secrect they would never allow them to promote the same images in their site. This what they tell us in the Sameer Kumar blog its reads:

          "Mark and Ian have, apparently, built up a significant portfolio of motorcycle design

          I have taken a look at the gallery page on their website and picture caption says

          "Indian Market Design Study, 250 sports bike for the indian market"

          According to me the most likely outcome is that this is some promotional image they have made just to release onto the internet and probably not work for Bajaj.

              Add number plates too to the list. Remember the R15/FZ16 with a number plate stuck up in the front.

                      I came across Oberdan Bezzi's designs. I think there is some link between him and Bajaj. Check his design.

                            yuck! Cagiva will never make this kinda bike. Jus look at that discover tail lamp rip-off. Looks like a chinese add-on on this bike.

                              When was this design created? It could be the other way around. i.e. Bajaj used this design for the discover tail light. i say this because a while ago, (When pulsars were still new) Bajaj was toying with a partnership wth Cagiva. They even had a cagiva designed scooter displayed alongside the Pulsar at the Auto Expo.
