I have lost trust in most of the manufacturers from whom i have owned the bikes.
Not in commuter class but in the higher class 150cc, because the bikes which are built for ripping are not able to do so. They feel like a style statement only.
CBZ, Karizma, Apache all have given me a bunch of troubles not to say GF125 and Energy FX, only RE is left without giving any trouble. Lets see what happens.
Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

Ab kya karein...Hero Honda hi bolna padega.

Even Honda can't match the trust which HH has garnered in years.

goin by personal experiences my vote is for royal enfield. after the first dealer closed in my city, when the second dealer opened up they sent a personal invite to come and see the new showroom and avail their services.

today when i was returning home, one uncleji in his late 60s asked me for a lift.i obliged and on reaching his destination he got down thanked me and pointed towards my 220 and asked " which company?" i said "Bajaj". He replied back " is it the splendour ?" i was like ......WTF, i was left speechless. now i know why HH sells so much !!!!

I have voted for Bajaj, Honda & Yamaha ... Yamaha being my best opinion among the 3.

I feel that Bajaj can improve on After Sales Service considerably ... Otherwise, Bikes are roaring, torquey & performing too.

My honest vote goes to HONDA. i'm using uni for 4.5+ years now and it still rocks.
Any HH has Honda engines only so it automatically qualifies for most trusted brand.

                      Not very right!

Not just the engines but everything HH gets out into the market are designed and given out bu Honda. But that doesn't make them the best manufacturer. Possibly makes them the best engineers or the best designers... Hero Honda embeds the trust in customers more than Honda does with reasonably priced quality spares, wide network of service centers, a strong service chain with well equipped service centers and above all, mostly satisfying work at a service. If Honda service centers can even do 1/3rd of what HH service centers do and have 1/2 the reach, Honda would win hands down... the cost part would never come into picture then!

Well dude we know about these facts. But my core point was directed towards engine.
Also HH is here in India from Decades and Honda they are kid in front of the baap of Indian 2 wheeler industry. But look at other side... in such a short span they are already at no 2 spot.. Now that speaks of the real picture...

                            No Hard feeling bro....

Right now its Honda from my experience.

I hope Suzuki will better, improve support with the GS150R. The new age in the Indian biking industry starts from 2009 with Yamaha's FZ16 and Zuki's Lanza. They will surely give good after sale service in order to compete with Bajaj, HH & Honda. And thus will make a place in Indian hearts as 'trusted manufacturers'. Not just bcos of support but its the end product Yamaha & Suzuki have recently came up with. Future's not so far.
