  • Bajaj avenger 200 custom

I don't remember my first date, but I assure it was 11th of December when I first felt my Avenger.
It was the end of 2007 when this machine entered my life, and hence begin new innings of my life. With every cc displacement my monster grew strong and my confidence grew stronger, well my life became simpler. This 16 horse power added many more miles to my ride and a never ending endurance to my testimony.
I loved the riding and handling the day I took on the tar with my monster doing a 500 kms run from Bangalore city to my town and a few more miles.
This monster is a killer, not only by its mean looks but also by its road grip, yes I mean the road grip. It's wild as a hog and calm as a duck.
The time I bought this machine, it was Bajaj's pro biking bloom, budding I mean. Well, I did have problems with the bike but Bajaj was around the corner to fix it up, only after I contacted the head office at Pune and not until then. May be, just may be I was not well equipped with the knowledge of my surroundings. Far better we completed 2 years together.
And now was the time to experiment with it.
Firstly, I got alloy wheels for my darling (shown in pictures), next I got rid of the boring stock tyres and got a size 110 17 Pirelli tyre for the front, the fender was never a problem and just needed to be placed with holes on different ends, the rare was replaced by 140 15 Mrf tyre, and it was game.
This way I did a whooping 6 years with my monsta.
The came the day I realized that something needs to be changed.
Hence I just started some basic search for bombers and choppers online and saw a zillion pictures of the same.
Thus I arrived at the conclusion to get the bike repainted and to get rid of stock shocks at the front. I did find out about USD forks and learned that it has better handling than its counterparts. So was the time to procure KTM 200 duke shocks and the planning to get it on my monster began.
It took like 6 months to get the fork on the motorcycle and also the new paint job done, but it was worth the wait. I was blessed looking at what I got.
I laid out the plan, my guy did it for me. But I learned, we have to wait for good things in life.
Later, there was some problem with the tank and the petrol got over run outta the tank and the paint got damaged.
This was a good opportunity for me to get the bike repainted and this time it was matte black without any stickers on it unlike before. The stickers said nothing much about the bike nor any theme, were just random outta my imagination, haha.
Currently the bike is been chopped of its odometer, fuel gauge, it's tank head and collar, the indicators (front) have been taken off, license plate in the front does no more exist, the front fender is off and the mirrors, well who needs them and the tank presently is been fitted with tvs apache tank collar and cap. The rest of the bike is neat and the front tyres are fitted with a Michelin 120 17 and the rear is the Mrf 150 15 the official Ducati Monster tyre.
Well, the mileage is outta question as once modification is done there is no question of that. Secondly the handling KS much improved and without a pillion rider, and yea the front suspensions are painted Gold. My motorcycle now stands out and it's one of a kind in India when it comes to Avenger and I feel proud about it.
You can see the details in the pictures attached.
Thank you for your time reading my blog. Hope you have a blogged day haha...
Take care. Until then, keep twisting the throttle.

    Regards 'Jay Mishra.

    Approved!

    Few concerns:

    1. Attachments not visible.
    2. Please write in proper paragraphs with proper punctuation to ensure good readability.
    3. Avoid SMS language. (monsta for example)

To say "Monsta" that's the name I've given to my machine.
