Same here pal. As for the start i would love to keep the vehicle maintainence costs and fuel expenses to the customers itself.
And as per abrupt vehicle breakdowns im thinking of few rules etc. Prior leaving i would organise a bike checkup a couple of days before. This ensure the vehicle's good health. Just in case a good healthy vehicle breakdowns it will be a minor breakdown. A little of that i can myself repair a little. Punctures etc also are very simple task to do. Bikes like Duke etc are very difficult to mend with all those sensors and elecrical stuff all. Pulsars whereas are simple carburatted naturally aspirated vehicles easy to go and mend. And that was the reason i sold my Duke200 as i love to tour. On a long term basis i plan to carry a local mechanic with myself who agrees for such a job. Ill pay him a fair deal. Buts thats too far i guess. Currently few problems etc i can deal with myself and these vehicle breakdowns are usually punctures and carb related problems etc. And if a big problem occurs like if cylinder head goes off valves get stuck(worst case). That i have to leave to the situation. Because its just a start for me and im not good in terms of money to hire a mechanic and carry spares along. At best we can arrange a tempo then just in case the vehicle needs to be transported then. The cost henceforth will be beared by customer if its his bike. If im providing then surely ill be the one paying. But these mishaps happen with unmaintained vehicles. Slight niggles are usual.
And yepp lets not go into brands and stuff. And what are the odds i have an Impulse. Just bought a month ago post selling my Duke200. Im planning a Karizma engine too. Touring is a cake walk on Impulse.

How much are you investing in advertising ? Are you already functional ? How are you getting the itineraries finalized ? Financials ????
