  • [Photo Feature]: PERFORMANCE Mods on KTM Duke 200

I have had my Duke 200 for quite some time and now that my warranty is over I will be getting some serious performance mods like-

    Remap
Big bore kit (if available and worth it)
Exhaust (full system no end cans)
    Intake (may be worth it)

what else can be done to bring down my timing and turn it into a race spec bike but not loosing engine reliability want to keep it for coming years.

I am from delhi and any shops here which can offer serious mods to performance.

    GBD approved!

Good/reliable Big bore kits available? Nope!
Exhaust system (full) - not VFM! (from a non hot rodding enthusiast's POV)
Intake - Meh! How much difference would it make?

Race spec bike without losing reliability? Get a bigger race spec bike! You're anyways looking at spending north of 50-60k. IMHO, sell your bike if you're unhappy with its performance and get a bigger stock motor!
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

Re: PERFORMANCE Mods on KTM Duke 200

Wanted to reply the same 'sell the bike and get a bigger one'. Spending 50-60k is not worth it.
And mods with high reliability, don't think so.

Want to keep the bike for years to come, keep it stock.

Btw, duke is already a powerful bike. There isn't any need to do such mods.

      Ride safe and have fun.

Mr friends own duke 390 as well even we exchange and use each other bikes for days. i have used every bigger motor but the true part is smoking out bigger motor bikes with my 200. as of now 25 bhp doesnt feel too much.
Yes my friends big bore kit is not available but will try to increase the compression by rubbing the head, shedding off some weight if possible, my aim is to decrease the timings.
200 is a fun light bike, i am searching over the net regarding if gearbox, engine can be tweaked for making it faster but no luck.

200 is a famous austrian bike with good after market support so will be searching for something good, and i intend on spending more than 50k on this bike but on things which are worth it
As of now if anyone can provide performance shops no. I will make and try to accumulate info for making fastest duke and have it shared to change the performance and people call it beast and will really turn it into a beast.
