Royal Enfield aluminium panniers DIY tips ?

Hey guys,

I was wondering does anyone have an experience in making a aluminum panniers ? I'm not particularly looking for REs only but in general DIY tips.
-waterproofing and crash proofing are in priority.

Any infos about retailers are also welcome.
