  • Sad story of bangalore roads #VideoDocumentary

I hope this fits the forum rules considering I used to enjoy my daily ride to office however due to pathetically changed condition of bangalore roads, not able to enjoy those rides at all. More than that there are so many deaths due to potholes. I was so agitated that I ended up making a video documentary so that it will reach the concerned officials some day.

    Thanks,
    Arun

You should post the video to Bangalore traffic police fb page and send a recorded disc to the minister who said he found only ONE pothole. Now BBMP claims 70% of all potholes have been filled LOL

Bad and pathetic condition of almost all roads.. Bangalore riders/drivers are always RIP-ing (Riding In Potholes), all the time. Hardly a handful of roads are good.

No wonder companies release bikes / cars 'especially' suited for Indian conditions.

If Bangalore is having such roads, imagine Kolkata's! It's worse with the tram lines(they are like death traps) and very less amount of roads. Kolkata has the fewest percentage of roads among all metros in India.
Nice initiative friend. But, I doubt even if, by any chance, concerned authorities/decision-makers get to see this video, they'd be bothered. They have attained the state of 'Moksha'. Mortal troubles do not bother them at all!
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

                    Someone has to start somewhere,
'good move indeed, mate! Tired of these killer holes. Already roads have become a rarity, and whatever tarmac is seen, it's either brimming with traffic or blocked due to construction. Makes me wonder if they are planning to build everything in one night. Last weekend ride, it took me much more than the usual time to reach Neelamangala from Kor. All the exits were detouring. I mean seriously?!

Exactly.. It seems like even the recent agitation (save whitefield) also did not affect them at all.

I was thinking that my video will loose credibility after sometime as potholes get filled and roads get tarred. To my utter surprise the roads are even worse than before now!! even after the agitation like #savewhitefield . What a shame.. And the worst part is most of us kind of got used to it that we only deserve that much
