Went to every possible Bajaj service center last weekend claiming that my RS200 had a nasty fall and that I need parts. Unscrupulous b!@#@$$ just refused to provide parts. Please bring bike sir .... we can fix.

Going to Ramkoti this weekend to see if the parts distributors will have anything to sell.

Meanwhile I have written to both Bosch and Continental and got no response on the proposal.

As much as a fool's errand this might be ... was hoping the experts would have given me some ideas on how to proceed. I have trips to take this month (Banglore and Pune) ... don't want to be without a bike.

        Hi Naveen,

Hope you have not given up on the idea. What are the developments? Did you try @ Ratiwal? Though its dual channel, doesn't TVS provide the ABS kit?
If you are still working on it, could you please let me know, I need some gyaan.

        Thanks

I have not been able to get just the ABS Kit from Continental (TVS). I tried getting it from the spares wala shops. But I got busy :-( I have to go to the other side of city.

So I have managed to locate an donor bike from which the brakes system can be lifted. I'm just waiting on a friend to disassemble so that it can be brought to me.

That's good news. Donor Bike is RTR 180 ABS?
If you don't mind, could you please pull me in ? Will PM my number to you.

I'm not sure what the donor bike is. All that was found was an ABS system with a 320 mm front disk.

My biggest concern is that I might not have enough power available additionally to drive this thing.

In my old life, we were pickers rebuilding cars. These are coming state side ad it will be free for me :-)

[QUOTE=Naveen Vajja;1202246]I wanted to understand and discuss if we can retrofit ABS Systems on Non-ABS bikes. I'm taking about a proper ABS and not the mechanical ones ...

                    Hi bro,
Any successful attempt in retrofit ABS in your ride ?
Its always better to sweat than to bleed. Wear helmet.

Life got too hectic. We lost the project which enabled me to travel to US ... not travelling outside much.

Also I bought a Street Triple and my brother took my FZ away from me. Now that you mention I miss my baby so much :-(
