is it possible to make a tank?
i was wondering if it is possible to get a petrol tank custom made for a bike anywhere in india...
to replace the plastic crap that the fz16 comes with....

yes it is possible.All custom chopper makers generally make own tanks.
e.g :vardenchi in Mumbai
No idea about sports/street bikes though.Whatever mods I have seen are usually plastic tops on original tanks for street bikes.
BTW doesn't fz have an actual metal tank inside.the upper portion is just for aesthetics ..ain't it?

Yes, i think it should be possible... I have seen a guy in bangalore working on tanks for the thunderbird... But again like darkknight i'm not too sure about street bikes... And one prob is quality of the finish even if you make a custom tank... So be really careful if you give someone the job to make a tank... Make sure he is experienced and uses the right materials for the tank...i was wondering if it is possible to get a petrol tank custom made for a bike anywhere in india...
