    Informative for sure...just one addition-keep the bike covered when u put it in for the nite- reduces ur job even if u wash it every week.
    ...this is how we r to take care of our bikes...hope most of us do 'cos dirtyyy bikes are a eyesore, be it a puny 100cc or even a gorgeous 1000cc sbk, nothing beats a clean and healthy bike!
    With great power, comes great responsibility- to man, machine and especially to mother nature.

                    is it true that if you wash bike less the colour will fade less
                    as dust and muds covers the colour!!!!!!!!????
                    Black is the colour of bike as well as of the death also ( Be aware of it )

                      But then, if dust and mud covers your paint colour how'll you see the color anyway?

                      This is a false impression. Dust and mud are abrasive to the paint finish. Its presence will only make it dull abd lustureless.

                      Remove Dust and mud with water only. Don't ever try to rub it away with cloth. This would be the equivalent of rubbing sand paper on paint (well, almost).

                        Hanoz, can u please make a comprehensive list of the different polishes (include brand and price if possible) you use for your bike? Also, please specify which polish you use for what part of the bike. A tabular compilation would be best.

                          nice work done but... just in case for all its advised not and i mean NOT to wash ur bike too frequently. i got an expert advise. especially dont go the the local car wash.
