  • Info needed on Exhausts

I posted this thread on friday. But it's not showing up. not sure if it was rejected. Anyways I am posting it again...

I need some basic info on exhausts. Can any bike's exhaust be used by any.
If not why? Could some one explain while replying so that I can understand the concept behind it.

Bottom line is I am planning to change my R15 exhaust, I dont like the sound it produces. I saw a R1 Slip on in ebay. planning to import.

If u guys can help me i can make the right decision.

    Thanks in advance.

Nope... It needs a connecting pipe which also provided by the seller. But my query is how do i fit it to R15. It costs 200$. Hence I need to know if it can be fitted onto R15 and H? before importing.

          Any one please????????

first and foremost if you are looking for a change of sound then forget putting an R1 slip on because a single cylinder engine engine will never produce a sound as a four cylinder machine. so i guess spending 200$ would be a waste. instead go for a free flow exhaust from a reputed company. i am sure some experts in xbhp will surely help you on this.
