ANNOUNCEMENT: AUTOBAHN 2017 featuring xBhp - Trivandrum (Feb 10th, 11th & 12th)
So, it is official now. xBhp - Trivandrum is going to be a part of Autobahn 2017. Posting below the news article which came in their newsletter.
LAND OF THE RELENTLESS
The high speed expressway in Germany is a dream for every automobile enthusiast, a place of longing to live for once, the top speed perspective. An equivalent emotion resonates among the people in Kerala, a flame that was lit up by the prestigious consortium; Association of Automobile Engineering Students - AAES (estd. 1999), organized MOTORSHOW '99, the first auto-expo of it's kind to grace any public avenue. Since then, every successive year saw the public waiting eagerly for the very next edition of the latter; a people's show with a crowd presence of about 25,000 in number.
Our success story, the history of our people, is something we look up to, each year and helping us better ourselves to sustain the legacy which was handed down to us by our seniors. Our hunt for glory started off in the year 1999..
1999
"Happened, for it was meant to"
The 90's had to end someway and AAES decided to end it with a bang, by bringing up the first ever national level motor show organized by any students association. MOTORSHOW '99 was a grand gala event which was a veritable wedding of the beauties of the road. The show included all the then latest models of different classes of vehicles. Over 25,000 people witnessed the 72 hours of non-stop mega event, which proved to be a culture that would go a long way.
2000"The millennium Autoshow"
This time AAES associated with The Institute of Engineers, India to being fourth the spectacle; Autofest 2000. The millennium year dawned as a testimony that the previous year's success, wasn't any beginners luck, but conducting an extravagant show with seminars on Preventive maintenance of new gen automobiles.
2001
"For nothing less than best"
Continuing their success and raising their standards every year AAES organized the 3rd edition of their renowned auto show. The students' association now made it a habit to compromise for nothing less than the best by venturing a show that included technical seminars taken by eminent personalities from the automotive industry, quiz competitions, group discussions and interactive sessions for students as well as the public.
2002
"A true success story"
As years passed by, the public always expected the very next edition to the Motorshow. AAES never forgot to provide their eager crowd here in Trivandrum. So thus the curtains were raised for MOTORSHOW '02, with a high spirited participation from most of the prominent automobile manufacturers, making AAES a topic of discussion all over the nation; a true success story inscribed in golden letters.
2003
"The giants in the industry now preferred the AAES platform"
The fifth venture of the auto-expo, MOTORSHOW '03, was inquired by industries more than it was promoted. An extravagant rally comprising of more than 150 motorbikes took the baton forward to inaugurate the show, which the automotive giants preferred to unveil their best products like Toyota camri, Ford Mondeo, Mahindra Scorpio and many more to the public. As part of it, a spectacular cultural fest staging a vibrant fashion show and a dazzling dance fest attracted talents from all major colleges around the nation.
2004
"A growth so imminent"
The participation of some of the major automotive industries in the prestigious auto-expo of the previous year attracted even more companies to MOTORSHOW '04. A fest needing no introduction, needed no further contemplation. The crowd and students came together once again to take AAES to better heights by attending enthusiastically in seminars and exhibition, to be part of it, rather than just staying in the galleries just to see.
2005
"A complete fest for a vast crowd"
The fame spreaded territories faster than light to conquer hearts of many aspiring students, which was a driving force in making them travel thousands of kilometers to be a part of this spectacle earthen than just read about them in literals. MOTORSHOW '05 showed us to never set a limit to what we can achieve. The show always provided the crowd with nothing less than the best including talk shows and seminars of some of the pinnacle automotive leaders, now crossing boundaries of our nation.
2007
"A name that took off and never saw a set of tail lights, ever"
The German freeway, the dream of every automobile enthusiast worth his salt, a road with no limits, it's name meant speed and the only thing that came close happened to be our fest. And so, it happened- AUTOBAHN '07. A fest revamped, entirely in it's aesthetics and functionality. Doubts flew off the walls when the sincere fan base, of AAES's fame and pride, whole heartedly accepted the latest edition of the fest that saw the most modern methodologies in conducting an outstanding expo, paper presentations and seminars. The fest also staged a full fledged cultural fest with a crowd turn-up seen never before, hinting that the best days are yet to come.
2013
"The Milestone event"
The success in the year 2007, only inspired the students and AAES to set new records and climb higher to the peak of satisfaction. All the inspiration and history drove the minds to bring together one if the best festivals ever organized by a student body all over the nation. AUTOBAHN '13, staged the best from the automotive universe with programs like auto-expo, obstacle race, dirt racing, auto-modding competitions, Gokarting, technical expo, parking challenge and a never seen before death defying stunt show by GhostRyderZ. A perfect matchup that had no equal for anytime to come.
2014
"Bigger got better"
The previous year's Autobahn was now the benchmark for colleges around the nation, making every automobile enthusiast to better his skills for the better repeatedly, since the expertise of the self-proclaimed fest made it too good to catch-up. Thus bigger, got better, with AUTOBAHN '14, which yet again spread waves around the public and changed notions to nothing close to a mediocre expo. The year saw a fest most widely publicized with programs like auto-expo, Apex racing workshops, Gokarting, auto-quiz, Pitstop and out of the blue, a show by the true champion, the Polish Prodigy, Rafal Pasierbek a.k.a Stunter13. Thus only AUTOBAHN could leave a crowd both speechless and make them scream with awe, something that colleges couldn't match, but only look up to.
Now, it's the start of a new year. An year promised to witness the greatest and most anticipated auto-fest of our people. This time, it's not about technical prowess, it's not about fame, it's simply about reaching to the depths of every Motorhead's soul and sending a message. A message that, it ain't the white collars that keeps our head high, but our greasy hands.
We are a team of individuals or rather a family of high spirited pioneers in the making, who wouldn't stand for anything other than total victory and anything less than that is failure. Burnt Rubber, Checkered Flags, Flaming Turbos. You are in the land of the Relentless, this is AUTOBAHN.
