    a) While reading the Himachal Map, I say Shinkhun La, and it seemed interesting, geographically, and so I googled it, and found this rather fascinating picto-blog, which led me to wonder if this is acually do-able by a motorcycle, and if anyone has done it?

    Very interesting! Though from the link you have shared, it doesn't look possible on a motorcycle. They have mentioned they would have preferred a full suspension cycle. Also, they have packed up their bikes on mules, that also points to some sections not being rideable even on a MTB, which is saying something!
    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
