Rider mania is different from the Ladakh trip. Rider mania is already over now.

For the Ladakh trip, there are 12 pple from Bangalore. One of them is a very good friend of mone. He just bought a twin spark thunderbird !

They have postponed the trip by one day. It will start on 15th I guess. And the fees is 18K only for lodging, food etc. Bikes transportation, petrol etc need to be additionally borne by the rider

There are lots of other clubs organising ladakh trips as well.
Get Off - Trips is one of them !
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

well, i thought of posting this before.. i had initially planned to join this trip., but last minute thoughts went against it. the total cost is way too high, also the places covered are very less.. No Kargil, No Kalsar..

Anyway, It would be a wonderful trip for those who ride down to Ladakh.. 50+ Bullets would be amazing!!

Bullet clubs do organise the Leh trip.. I just mentioned 18k is a bit high considering the places covered

In fact its a 2 week trip and a full to and fro including shipping your bike to Delhi and back, shud come to more than 25K !

In fact lots of pple (especially the newbies) feel 18K is not a big sum for the peace of mind it provides.
There is a lot of logistics and help that Royal Enfield provide !! (All this is what I've heard and my perception of course!! )

There are lots of pretty veteran tourers who do go through Royal Enfield every year ! I've seent the mails RE has been sending my friend. Theydo seem to want to extend all the help they can !!

Of course he is a newbie into touring (and indeed biking, bought his RE twinspark 2 weeks back), and appreciates the help RE is extending to him !!
