  • Putting bike cover after riding

Hi is it ok to put bike cover soon after riding the bike, in my building there are lots of stray animals , specially cats which scratches paint and tear seat cover , so after every ride back home I put cover on my bike, sometime I wait 5 mins to put cover, is it harmful for bike if engine is hot , there are open back so air can go and even cover near engine side is little up so air can go. So want to know is it safe .

It is advisable to let the engine cool down before putting the cover on it.

The other option is to cover the bike, but lift the part covering the engine. You can put down this part after the engine cools down.

It is always recommended to not put the cover while the engine is still hot and fresh after a run..Just wait for 15 min and you are good to proceed.

Don't... Let your bike cool down first. I covered my AS200 after a 40km ride at 2pm. Came down at 5pm and the bike was still hot. That's not a good thing. Please avoid covering your bike after riding
