A similar thread existed somewhere here. Can't find it right now. If someone does, please share the link, will merge it.

My ideal bike: A 1000cc motorcycle which returns 100kmpl while putting out 200+bhp, corners like a track machine, while at the same time can take on Dakar like terrain. Should have top of the line electronics which should be switchable. Should be naked but without any windblast, and at the same have little projectors, which when switched on make the bike look like a fully faired. Should weigh around 150 kg, be uber comfortable and if i crash, it should have zero damage.

Of course all this would only be ideal if it is available within 1 lakh and on installments with 0% interest!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Thanks for thread approval.and yes some of it can be achieved maybe with a modular bike design.

There already are (and way better)- CBR250, Mojo, Duke 390, even the Avenger 220. Here, your touring needs are done with less headache.

And what's macho - Should it have rough sex with Gorillas butt naked? I never understood this term with REs.

          Regards.

Read this on facebook Xbhp post and its very interesting indeed. Period. If they successfully put something like this on the roads, then the motorcycles we have now would no longer be seen after 2025 or so.

              Re: What's Your Ideal Bike?

This is interesting. We have come a long long way from where we all started. In a budget of 3 lacs and all our Indian standards taken into account, I think I almost have my ideal bike but there are some serious improvements we need.

Somewhere on the Averages of Dominar, CBR250R, Duke 390 and a himalayan, This is what it should be.

1.*CRAZY BAT SHIT AHEAD* An easily removable fairing on a fully faired bike (Okay, put your 10 or 12 nuts or bolts or auto-locks whatever, but gimme an option to convert between naked and sport on a Sunday morning in 15 minutes)
              2. A SMOOTH 6-gear 30Nm - 300cc - 30BHP wherein the shift does not get stuck between 1-N-2 even if Rossi rides
              3. A kick start rod besides your switch, an engine kill and a pass light switch (YES!!! I'm poor enough to ride a CBR150R)
              4. Manual head lamps (as an option)and a full stand (we have really nice system of parking)
              5. Big mirrors integrated with indicators that do not hang out of your bike and go scratch everything (as raj mentioned) without showing my own biceps all the time
              6. A foolproof helmet holder lock arrangement using which I can place my helmet on the rider seat (saves from the sunburn)

ALL THE FEATURES MUST *to be continued*
I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.
You meet the nicest people on a Honda.
