    Pil against dealers charging handling and logistics

    Hi everybody one of my friend is fighting against the handling and logistics charges which are charged by the dealer and he has filed a PIL and if you or someone you know have paid logistics and handling please share here so that the case can be strong.
    Moderators please change the category if necessary because I am new[emoji106] here.

          As I'm aware, it's applied on 4 wheelers and not on motorcycle.

            Sir are you saying that it is legal to charge handling and logistics for four wheelers and illegal for two wheelers but it is illegal for charging both and even I read here in some threads people paying handling and logistics but I don't know why anyone is not coming in front that is why I requested mods to close or delete the thread whichever possible.

              Yes, sir you're right about the charges.
              But since this is motorcycle related forum your post won't gather much traction here.

              On Team BHP forum, you'll see lot of activity about this. I remember, court issued notice that this amount is illegal and case can be filled if found it.

                Sir sadly I am not a member of team bhp 😞 and have tried registering 5 to 6 times but got rejected but I do follow team bhp regularly and I am a fan of team bhp.

                  While buying my Jupiter, was quoted Rs. 900 extra as handling charges. Sent a mail to TVS, they sprung into action and I got my scoot delivered sans Handling charge. They will charge you if you are unsuspecting. 90% of people dont care about the charge, hence they are making good money out of it.

                      All charges the same rate. You have to call the area manager and complain. then only they will take that charge off.
