  • Buying a desired colour over stock colour !

    Hai xBhpians,
I have a doubt over long time that how to buy a motorbike with the desired colour other than stock colour provided by the company. Example: Yamaha R3 Racing Red/Adrenaline Red is not available in India but available on Global market I hope.
I personally like red coloured motorbike than other colours.
Please tell me the procedures to buy the motorbike in desired colour.

    Query Approved

You can only buy a colour variant available in the country at present. You will have to import a bike from another country if you want your desired colour! Which will be a major pain.

The other option you have is to buy a bike and wrap it/ paint it up in the colour scheme of your choice. To make it legal you need to get the colour corrected on your RC as well. The easier option is to buy a red bike and then paint it in the red scheme you have in mind, thus saving yourself from the hassle of going to the RTO for changing the RC.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

You ca buy the bike and then You can import the plastic parts or buy aftermarket fairings from aliexpress.com
You can install most parts at home too.

If you buy from Aliexpress make sure the fairings are injection molded so they fit perfectly.
Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

In my experience, the quality is great for the price. They are ofcourse not as good as stock however for 1/6 the price of stock fairing, they look and perform great. I have seen chinese fairing on a bike and the plastic and paint quality were great and it looked almost as good as stock fairing.

The Just make sure you get Injection Moulded parts. Buy from a seller with good reviews and ratings and they will fit and look exactly like any stock fairing.

              Thanks for reply riot !

Is it possible to paint the bike as company standard from local auto paint shops?

If yes how much it will cost to paint the whole bike in different colour?

Is there any good custom painters there
              In India?
