Why are indicator flasher not illegal.

    Why are indicator flasher not illegal.

    Indicator flasher that are common in HD ,RE and other bikers are using them too.

    But why aren't they banned.
    We cant see when they are going to turn right or left,which can cause accidents.

    Few days ago I was about to crash into HD,
    the left indicator was blinking, So i decided to overtake him from the right,and to my surprise he turned right, and it was a near miss.
    On arguing with that guy he said he had not given an indicator, only the flasher was making the indicator blink and he didn't new his right side indicator was not working.

    I think government should ban it.

      Do you mean hazard lights? Where all indicators blink together?

        yes ,in bikes we need to install flashers to make them work as hazard lights.

          Well, they do serve a purpose - to flash when you are parking under low visibility to let other people know about your position and in foggy situations. Even many car drives keep them on driving around the city. Which I feel is a hazard in itself. Then there are those who don't use indicator at all.

          On bikes, you just need two diodes, a button and sone wire to make your indicators work like hazard light. Honda bikes are getting hazard light switches stock. I recently saw this on Xblade and Hornet

              The problem is not with the bike, but with the bullshit idiot riding it.

              I had a similar experience with a car, that idiot turns on the hazard light to indicate he will go straight, i almost crashed into it.

              A country with no proper riding school is dangerous.
