How can you pass PUC test on non road exhaust?
I've seen a lot of superbike owners remove catalytic converter from their bike and use after market exhaust that are for track use only (its even written on the exhaust pipes). It's really common on superbikes, but people might as well be doing it on small bikes. Now the bikes are registered as BS4 (euro4) compliant, how do they pass emission tests after such mods?DUCATI

Bro, why would you want to unnecessarily pollute the environment?Originally posted by revoconner View PostI've seen a lot of superbike owners remove catalytic converter from their bike and use after market exhaust that are for track use only (its even written on the exhaust pipes). Man I hate those aftermarket exhausts, they don't prevent air pollution and then they produce that noise, people go crazy like maniacs revving even more.Originally posted by revoconner View PostI'm not, just curious! I like my cat, it also keeps the noise down. Meow! Oh wrong cat

Lol I know! I broke my exhaust pipe once going into the muffler and the bike was making crappiest sound from the front cylinder. Called up my dealership to come pick up the bike for repair and the guy was like doesn't the bike sounds awesome now? No! It sounds like my ears wont be hearing much in life if this continues.Originally posted by Zapps View PostMan I hate those aftermarket exhausts, they don't prevent air pollution and then they produce that noise, people go crazy like maniacs revving even more.DUCATI

Re: How can you pass PUC test on non road exhaust?
There are many PUC providers, at least in Pune, who would just take the money and write down a random data on the PUC receipt without actually testing the emissions. That's one way to pass PUC.Originally posted by revoconner View PostLol I know! I broke my exhaust pipe once going into the muffler and the bike was making crappiest sound from the front cylinder.
