          dude the pulsars have 5 plates on the stock bike.u can add a 6th plate if u think 5 is not enuff.

            u can beat the competiton in a drag with a good clutch.always stick to the stock make of the plates.so thicker the plates the better the pick-up.

              I felt the same difference when I replaced the clutch plates of my Zma... Huge change in pickup, acceleration & top speed... Havent tried sprocketing yet coz I find the choice between higher top end or better acceleration a toughie to make up my mind on...

                right said i jus rode my friends cbz who's plates are jus totally fried,man no pick up at all a splendor fella beat us at the signal insite of me givin it full gas,was so humiliatig..and also the accleration is so pathetic,i immidately switched to my Dtsi-and what a relief

                                allright ppl attn here! its 8 days since i hav changed the plates and i m getting better mileage and the bike takes off the lights like as if it is hit by a giant sledge hammer!
