  • Signs of a worn-out clutch

    Hello everyone.

I've a Karizma I get it serviced in the service center but I got a serious grudge with one of their logic --

If bike's pickup is down replace the clutch.

I don't get this; the signs of a bad clutch is --

    1) RPM/speed mismatch (compared to new clutch or when the bike was new)
    2) Clutch fails to engage fully and always slips or engages slowly.

My situation is heavy engine hesitation and low performance but the clutch never slips (RPM and speed is matched) and engages fully when I drop it.

So question is, is my clutch really worn out? or is their Splendor-logic bad? BTW this clutch is just 5000kms old.
