Our roads are filled haphazardly with vehicles of all types and sizes and the 2-wheeler tribe are no less, with their numbers climbing up alarmingly, with a majority of them having almost no road sense!
In the midst of all this, the small cult of retro, classic 2-stroke Scooter owners, still stand proud, taking loving care of their machines and riding sedately and safely.
The European Union has been celebrating Mobility Week from 16th - 22nd September annually and the Scooter Day has made its presence felt there since 2013.
And with our Scooters standing for freedom in everything - whatever the road, whatever the country, they signify everything that is fun, environmental-friendly, easy to commute in traffic and park too.
With different cities having their own groups and clubs, it was only a matter of time, when everybody wanted to just meet up and get-together.
Presenting the first-ever Scooter Day in our country and the very first chapter of the Southern Scooter Meet!!
