I love the Aprilia SR 150 for city commutes as its agile and has great handling, braking, acceleration and ABS. I could have gone for bigger bikes for performance but changing gears in Bangalore city is a pain and have heating issues as well. Four wheeler is not an option as i dont want to crawl at 30km/h. Electric bikes are still not an option as it take hours to charge it and cant make it for long drives with peace of mind.

I feel there is room for improvement to increase performance.

I am planning to mod my Aprilia SR race 150 abs and most importantly it should be reliable.
I have listed down the mods which I have found on net.

- Racedynamic ECU
Has anyone installed in aprilia?
If yes any comparison videos.

- Have seen in youtube that having lighter RollerWeights helps increase performance
If yes what weight should I use? anyone tried it

- Currently headlights are not good, any reliable setup?

- Barrelexhaust makes exhaust for aprilia sr 150.
How much does an exhaust make a difference to performance?
I don't like the exhaust sound to be more than the stock.


- Planning to change gearbox oil after reading the below post.


- Planning to buy the performance pack (full synthetic) as well from liqui moly


- Planning to change to Iridium spark plug,does it make a good noticeable difference?


- Planning to install a Bmc stock replacement air filter.

If i have missed out on any reliable performance mods let me know or if you think any mods mentioned above is useless.

It would be great to know from people who have first hand experience.
