    Thanks for those links madrussian

At first The second one seemed hilarious to me but thats quite a tool for our traffic though not for potholed roads
I was wondering how small could a 160 cc engine be after watching those pics..
Is there anyone here in India who had successfully kitted a turbocharger to their bike? I would like to know more about turbocharging our very own single cylinder babies in India

i heard there was a turbo karizma which did 160kmph on speed gun .

well a 160 cc engine can be quite small . half the size of a 300ml coke bottle

another theory i have is a small supercharger running low boost (so that it dosent rob much power off the crank) and a turbo , which will be aided by the supercharger and help it spool faster .
      just a thought .

There was no such Karizma in the country.
ofcourse there was a guy who claimed that his karizma would lick 160-170kph and on the speedgun, it did 124kph.

FYI, turbo charging a single cylinder is not easy in any sense. Getting the right turbo, piping it right, getting the right ignition and setting it up, making it reliable and achieving the desired results etc etc is almost close to black magic in short.
An NA engine can be more reliable and there is lesser complication.

ofcourse i understand that i did mention in my earlier post that it is not childs play .

as for the zma as i recall i saw it somewhere on the old xbhp .
and there are many guys claiming that their stock zma's shoot till 160kmph if ridden by a "Pro"

Its not even a simple Mans play to shov a turbo, let alone it being called a childs play. Even if Rossi rides a Karizma, it cant do that much.
The fastest street legal karizma in the country is what we built, and it would clock 141kph with the stock gearing and does a Q'tr mile in 15.5 secs with minimal weight reduction. And there is another 25% work left to let go the project fully.

There was a Karizma with NOS, infact there were a few of them in Pune and 1 in bangalore. That NOS'd Karizma is what we turned into the fastest street karizma.

                      i must say

neways i was longin to buy a dyno for tuning my unicorn
can ne1 suggest which brand dyno to purchase or any other accurate way of tuning the engine to its peak . . ..
even the honda trained mechs can't tune it to the best .
                      thank you
The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.
