  • [Photo Feature]: TVS Victor in Africa

For some of you it won't be a new thing. But for rest, Did you know that TVS Victor is used a Taxi in Africa?

Not only TVS but other bikes from India are very popular among African countries. 2-wheelers as cabs are much in demand compared Auto Rickshaws!

    Some pics from Kigali, Rwanada.

Dude, Rwanda is most under-developed nation in the world. I want TVS and Bajaj to export to Japan/UK/US

HMSI is exporting CBF stunner to UK as 'inter-city' commuter and sells at MRSP 1800 sterlings (~Rs.1.5lacs), that's good foreign exchange earner and good respect for 'made in india' tag in a competitive market of a developed country.

Iran is actually quite better off than even us in many many ways. But that's another topic altogether

Here's a pic from my trip in 2006.

BTW that picture is not from net, but My professor, who is just back from an African trip. He had to pay 500 Rwandain Shellings just for taking the pic! And the safety gears is compulsory for bot the riders!

And it's not only Victor or Mopeds as cabs but also Bajaj Discover !!

                        Some pics from net --

I know. Was trying to put someone at peace. Here's the pic that I found while going through the news of Iran's disputed elections.
