hey guys ! i really need your help ! im doin an industry analysis report for my business policy class and need a lot of info on the two wheeler industry ! im also doing a brand - competitor analysis ie brand being bajajand competitor being yamaha
now the analysis is based of 7 topics which i have to do for all ie
two wheeler industry analysis as a whole analysis on these 7 topics
brand analysis - ie bajaj again analysis based of 7 topics
and competitor analysis again based on these 7 topics
7 topics are :-
1.Basic features of the industry:-here factors like current size of the industry,product offereings ,volumes and performance of the industry in recent times are included. it involves all the player in the two wheeler market.
2.Industry enviroment: talk about what kind of an industry it is i.e. (emergin,declining,global,fragmented or mature industry)
3.Industry structure :deals with total market size , number of players, relative share of the players, nature of competition, barrires to the industry,cost structure, strategies pursued by each player, entry barriers ( product diff , technology,cost advantage, global reach) etc.
4.Industry attractiveness: based of profit potential , growth prospective , future needs i nthe industry, forces impacting compettion within the industry, barriers in the industry
5.Industry performance: requires examination of production,sales,profitability and technological advancements
6.Industry practies i.e. how players operate to consolidate their position. this deal with product policy,pricing strategies promotion policy distribution policy r&d efforts and competitive policy
7.Future scenario: based on changes in consumer preferences, product innovation, entry and exit of firms, rate of growth ,changes in regulatory framework, the product life cycle of industry .
now i knw this is abit too much to ask but you guys are my only hope have to finish it soon have already begun the work but not gettin enough references so all i need from you guys is to point me in the right direction , few inputs , websites etc etc any help is appreciated and a big thanks first off. ill be busy with college so with try to come online as much as i can to check up on this pls do help me out
