Well, reading through this thread (and many similar ones) I've begun to wonder, whatever happened to the thing called 'originality'? I mean, with all due respect dude, do you really want your bike to look like an advertisement for Castrol. Plastering a Castrol (or any other brand for that matter) is like saying "I use Castrol oil in my bike; look, here's proof, I have a sticker!" OR "If you see me doing amazing stunts or riding extremely well, racing hard or whatever, or if my bike seems to running smooth and been maintained in excellent condition, you should know it is ONLY because I use Castrol!"

Now it is not news that the sole reason all these professional Racers have Castrol, Bridgestone, etc. written on their bikes is simply because they get paid for it! And here you are, actually spending hard-earned money in getting the sticker for your bike!

Like I said, with all due respect and not meaning to offend or hurt any sentiments, the only originality left would be in deciding where to place the Castrol sticker on your bike... and that's about all there is to it!

Let me know if your opinion differs.

Can you brief us the re-paint process, so that we can explain our local guys what/how we want to do for our bike?

If that would have been possible, i would have got that done on a ZMA here already..

God knows how they do it.. but no1 can do it the way they does it, i can bet on that..

The actual paint could have been far better. Since the area of paint on CBR 1000 and zma differs quite a lot. As you know getting the bike from pune to delhi. Would be practically impossible. It would have been R1. I could have driven all the way up. But to the fact that it aint, The best possible thing is that we can get it done over here. Not with the same kind of accuracy but somewhat similar. Thanx for the reply. Keep posting will need all of your much needed advice. Till the bike aint been painted.

Originality means nothing to me, No ofences right? They mighthave paid for it. But in my eyes I dont like a bike plain simple, without any tatoo's and the foremost thing like evry other bike on the street. I love it this way. But if you are saying just where to place those stickers then alright please give me some suggestion on where should i place the castrol logo so that i dont loose the originality. I did like what you wrote. Keep it coming. Thanx a million.

No offences, but you've entirely missed the point. Being 'original' (quite literally) means that your 'customized' bike doesn't have to look "like evry other bike on the street". Is the ONLY available alternative to not using Castrol stickers (or any other brand) left in keeping your bike "plain simple, without any tatoo's"? (Tattoo? I guess you meant sticker, decals etc.)

C'mon, think about it; wouldn't it be a much more exhilarating and self-gratifying experience to rack your own brains and come up with a custom job that looks 100% original and is an eye-catcher for sure? How about some funky tribal art with a strategically placed chequered flag somewhere on the tank coupled with some (eye-catching?) text in a funky looking font to describe exactly how your mental image of yourself on the bike is (How bout some 'Maxx Torquerer', or 'MaxxXtreme', or better yet, how's 'MaXXZmA". Go ahead, improvise with 'MaXXZmA', no royalties charged for the word!

And about where to place the Castrol logo you asked: the answer is, "how would I know, and why should I care... I already gave you a new idea with 'MaxxZmA', use it wherever you like."

                      Azeez,

I think you have more wider idea rather then we have, mean you want to make (re-paint) bike using your wider imagination. That cool idea but we are (me and Maxx) are more interesting in replication (call duplicate).

What we achieve on that? Answer like, if you like three things and you want merge all the things in single, there the replication concept come. We are copy some part of all the three things and pasted in one. But in that, creativity and concept/imagination also there.

And the brand name sticker?, well, if I paste like ABC and PQR logos on my bike which is unknown to world, then it may look odd or even funny to other and might be loss charm of that bike. Thus branded name sticker/logos require.

I must say, you have lot of re-painting concept in your mind, but we are less on that so we use our mind that a way so we can utilize it maximum.

I appreciate your idea abdel. The max torquerer, maxxtreme and maxzma. It's very cool. I agree with jiten, Brand name's matter a lot. Something which you havent heard about? i.e..new concept's and apart from that even if people like your idea's which people havent heard about, they would follow your footsteps and would copy exactly just that. A difffrent quality paint is sure, tribal art's, yes offcourse, but without proper decals, it would still be like less like a stock bike. Therefore proper decals and proper brand names form imp part of custmized bike. Not to show the people that we are racing for castrol and all. its because all together i.e..diffrent quality paintjob, coupled with tribal arts or flame arts and decals will surely make the bike stand up in the crowd. Very diffrent from the stock, you might have seen my current cbz, With just the kind of vinyling, some people have failed to realize that its a classic cbz, Thats my cup of experience. So, in short this is all what I need, Diffrent and way too diffrent. That's what I do when i couple custom paint, tribal arts and decals.
